Clear aligners, an effective alternative to traditional braces, because they use a system of clear, removable trays used to gently align proper position. . Each aligner are computer generated and custom-made to fit over your teeth and is designed to gradually move teeth into their proper position. Just like braces, clear aligners use gradual force to control tooth movement, but without any metal wires or brackets instead made with a strong plastic material that has been fabricated to fit on your teeth and mouth. They are removable, making it easy for you to brush, floss, and eat throughout your entire treatment. As you switch to a new set of aligners every couple of weeks, your teeth will gradually be moved into their proper positions.

Begin Treatment

Once you receive your first set of aligners, begin wearing them as directed. You will then receive new aligners every 2 or 4 weeks, depending on the speed of the plan you choose and as per our doctor advised. Before you know it, your teeth will be looking much straighter, and people will start to notice you smiling more!
As your treatment continues, please remember to clean your aligners often. Your aligners are made of clear plastic, which makes them nearly invisible, but can also cause your teeth to appear yellow, gray, or stained if they are dirty.

For minor anterior relapse type cases, up to four aligners are used to primarily correct anterior rotations and spacing concerns on either or both arches with moderate interproximal reduction as needed. For mid-range malocclusions, we have our “Continuation” aligner service. After an initial Series 4 set of aligners, we continue treatment with additional aligners until the case goals are met.

Clear aligners are used to treat the same orthodontic issues that are normally treated through the use of traditional braces, including:

  • Crowded and crooked teeth
  • Gapped and spaced teeth
  • Malocclusion (bad bites)

Clear aligners are a great alternative for patients who want a straighter smile but do not want to wear metal braces, or for patients who have had treatment in the past and want to make minor corrections to their smile. There are several advantages to orthodontic treatment with clear aligners.
